I wish it were not true, but Dave Brockie has died...you may only know his stage persona Oderus Urungus frontman for the band Gwar, he was only 50 years old. I don't care what or why, all I know is that one of my favorite performers is gone and I am deeply saddened by the loss. Extreme music has always been a part of my life, even when I sank into my college radio indie phase, Gwar kept me grounded in what I really loved. An exceptional performer, and Scumdog, Dave Brockie will be missed for a long time to come...
