NO CONTROL Radio Report 9/9/19

So sad I had to miss that Slipknot show last week. I totally forgot that when you have a kid in Marching band, Friday is pretty much booked! Used to be the show was Fridays, so I guess it's a good thing that we moved to Saturdays, right? Heard nothing but good stuff about it.

Record Store Day was this weekend, and it is always nice to hit up my local retailer for some metal and support local business, but this years special metal was kind of meh. I like picture discs, but I don't want to spend $35 on something I can't even play (or shouldn't). Still I bought some old shit that I wanted and was cheaper, no matter what my expendable income dwindles with subscription to 1000 different media services...oh well, it is 2018 after all.

We blasted some Halloween metal this week on the show, one of my favorite episodes of the year for sure. I love playing the new tunes, but sometimes it's nice not to have to worry about spins and whether you'll like something or not, and just play jams that I KNOW you want to hear!

Hitting November and we are getting ever so close to the end of the year, so be thinking about the 'best of' lists. I will want some input from all of you about my pics, coming soon!
