Dimebag Darrell would have turned 50 years old this weekend and we pay tribute to metal fallen soldier on his birthday. We've been doing it for a decade or more and we cannot let this occasion go unmarked. As one of the only musicians to have been murdered in such a terrible way, we want to make sure that people remember him for what he contributed to metal, music and Texas. Dime was one of the most gracious and kind individuals that you could possibly meet, down to Earth and extremely talented, his abilities cannot be judged poorly no matter what anyone thinks of Pantera. This is both the easiest and the most difficult show of the year, to know he had so much great music, but to also know that we will never experience it live again or get anything new...so getchapull and throw it back for Dime!

One of the best and worst shows I do every year, the annual Dimebag Darrell birthday tribute show. We are sad that he is gone, but his legacy live on through his music! Three hours of metal from Dime, Pantera, Damageplan, Rebel Meets Rebel and music by him and for him. We keep the Texas Made Metal in the mix, because without it, there wouldn't be a Pantera!
