SXSW Metal Tuesday 3/12/13

I have been attending SXSW for seventeen years in a row now and it seems to get going earlier every single year. Not only do we get Interactive, Film and EDU, now the showcases and music parties start on Tuesday for the Music portion of the conference. Granted a little slow, but we have a bit of metal to get things rolling on Tuesday.

Be sure you are planning ahead for parking, that is always the biggest bitch during this week. It is the only time I ever pay to park downtown since I can leave my car in a garage all day. I took my bike with me last year to get around and it was the best thing I had ever done. Be ready for huge crowds already!
